I need help organizing my research

I'm in the middle of writing my dissertation, but I'm having trouble organizing my thoughts coherently. My research is broad, and while I have a lot of material, it is difficult to organize correctly. Does anyone have any suggestions or tactics for properly outlining my work or focusing my arguments? Any help with my dissertation would be extremely welcomed, as I am attempting to ensure that my ideas flow logically and support my topic properly. Thank you in advance.
